Isak Vilander

I am Isak Vilander, a 40-year-old father of five children and a husband to one wife. We live with our family in Tammisaari.

I work part-time as a teacher in Pojo and also part-time as a project coordinator for the Finnish model of hobbies for the city of Raseborg. I also coordinate the ssame project in Hanko. I am also the Executive Director of the association I founded, Raaseporin Harrasteliikunta RHL ry, where I aim to promote the physical, mental, and social well-being of the people of Raseborg through sports/exercise.

I have been an alternate member of the city council during the current term and sit on the planning committee, where I have had the opportunity to promote, among other things, year-round living for the people of Raseborg in rural areas, important planning projects, and the enabling of "Kookomus/Samlingspartiet" - spirit in the work of the committee. In a local association, I have promoted bilingualism and social media work.

I am also active in other contexts, such as in Betesda Church, a congregation, and in the EIF football fan association Eklöven r.f..

I enjoy music and reading.

My Political Goals / Election Promises:

Ensuring the safety and peace of school days for all children and young people in Raseborg. Every child and young person has the right to a safe and peaceful learning environment. We will ensure this through methodical education and restoring the authority of teachers.

- Bringing Raseborg to its full potential. Raseborg is like a valuable pearl. Among other things, our municipality's cultural and historical background, the beauty and diversity of our nature, our vibrant villages, active community life, and functioning services provide fantastic conditions for us residents to live. However, there is still much to be done to fulfill the dreams of the residents for our collective benefit.

- Improving the business environment for companies. A basic condition for life is earning a livelihood. If our entrepreneurs do not have the best conditions to work, invest and create jobs, our region will become impoverished, and services and life in the area will disappear. In Raseborg, we can do a lot in this area, and we need decision-makers who understand the challenges and opportunities of entrepreneurship.

These are some of the issues I will work to advance if I gain your trust, dear residents of Raseborg.
